Flashing Fire Engines (Amazing Machines)

Bought "Tremendous Tractors" in this series to take back to twin grandsons (age 2 1/2) last week. These stories are terrific! We went to local library to get more and now I'm buying copies of kids' favorites since I know their popularity will last. There is a good amount of information embedded in delightful rhyme -- definitely more than just identification -- more explanation. In all, these rich read-aloud stories are brought to life with cool illustrations and characters who continue from book to book.
