Not as strong as his other books. I found these stories to be a little forced-- like he had to write them to meet the terms of a contract or something. I had a couple of good laughs and had to read sections out loud to my wife, but overall I felt a little let down.

Not generally being a true crime reader, I was throughly surprised how fascinated with this book I was. It is extremely well researched and written. Mr. Preston has landed his book on my top ten list this year! I can not recommend this book to enough people.

This book was not as great as I had hoped. I think it would have made a perfect short-story, but was too weak to be a novel. It started out strong, but fizzled half-way through. Not worth the time to read.
