I've been in love with this book since I was a little girl. The lessons I learned as child from this book continue to shape the ways I communicate & behave. Highly recommended for every child and adult!

This beautiful book nearly saved my life many years ago. This book has passionate prose, real experiences and the feeling of awakening to knowing your not alone as a queer woman of color. Read it and be enlightened and inspired.
