I PURCHASED THE CD VERSION AND THE BOOK. MONEY WELL SPENT!! I PARTICULARLY ENJOYED THE CD VERSION BECAUSE IT IS HIS LIFE IN HIS OWN WORDS WHICH MAKES IT THAT MUCH MORE INTERESTING. PUT ASIDE ANY PRECONCEIVED IDEAS YOU MAY HAVE AND I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL NOT ONLY ENJOY THIS BOOK IMMENSELY BUT WILL LEARN A GREAT DEAL FORM IT! THIS SHOULD BE A "MUST READ" FOR EVERYONE!

If you love animals, nature and the outdoors this book will absolutely captivate you! Merle's Door is very special! You won't be able to put it down or stop listening to it. (I particularly enjoyed the CD version.) Ted's writing skills 'take you there' with his amazing attentention to detail! We liked it so much, I went on to purchase all of Ted's other books and have not been disappointed in a single one!
