Coco is the most glamorous, ambitious, clever carrot you will ever meet. Her adventures take her onto the high seas, to the tropics, to France, and beyond. My kids love this book and it's a pleasure to read as a parent. She gives "being a vegetable" a whole new name. Strongly recommend.
This book should should be on the "must read" list of anyone living in the United States. It is absolutely incredible what we as a country put these school children through, and their story is an inspiration to anyone who finds it hard to stand up for their beliefs. It is also an admonishment to any of us who ever turn a blind eye to evil.
