Millions ,on both sides of the aisle , have willingly ,nay cheerfully ,abandoned their right to make informed judgments based on common sense and reason . And are more than willing to be led en masse by their noses.
Gore vastly understates the case . It's gone far beyond being a mere "Assault on Reason" . In fact ,Reason stands totally Pulverized.
