I thoroughly enjoyed reading Come Together, Fall Apart by Cristina Henriquez. The author paints a vivid portrait of life in Panama with each story; tales of growing up, reconnecting with family and societal turmoil after the American invasion.
The spirit of family and humanity really emanate from these stories, certainly one of the better short story collections I have come across in recent years.

I found the story plotline gripping; I simply could not put the book down! The characters are, as always, very true-to-life, and the situations are equally realistic. A great read!
This book is very informative, and the illustrations are also quite realistic. I found it quite entertaining. This is definitely going in my Wish List!
