Of Walking in Rain by Matt Love
Of Walking in Rain

Idhrennial, January 3, 2014

Never before has rain been so enticing, or such an enthralling subject. What could come from the water that continuously falls from the sky if not days stuck indoors, muddy puddles and grey skies? Matt Love's book is overflowing with answers, and stories to prove that rain is so much more than just precipitation. Of Walking In Rain can turn any rainy day into a blessing, cause every soaked Oregonian to throw the umbrellas away and draw you outdoors into the storm rather than underneath a dry roof. Love weaves tales of his life, song lyrics and student work into this collection of love stories, all dedicated to the constant visitor to Oregon landscapes. Whenever I wake up to the sound of drops on my window or switch school campuses in a downpour, I think of Mr. Love and what he would say. Any Oregonian, adventurous soul or human who has ever been touched by rain should read this book, and be prepared to view the showers with a completely new perspective, all doubts washed away.
