Sundays with Vlad: From Pennsylvania to Transylvania, One Man's Quest to Live in the World of the Undead by Paul Bibeau
Sundays with Vlad: From Pennsylvania to Transylvania, One Man's Quest to Live in the World of the Undead

Indira, October 28, 2007

I wasn't sure what to think when I picked this book up. But I really enjoyed it. Bibeau is an affable writer. He is a perfect tour guide through the cultural landscape of vampires.

Another Moist von Lipwig novel! I can't wait. He rocked the Post Office, can he rock the Mint?

I'm glad to know I'm not the only Snape fan out there! How many people think Dumbledore is still alive? I also wonder if Dumbledore's brother will make an appearance in this book. Numbers 3 and 6 were my favorites.

Blind Submission: A Novel by Debra Ginsberg
Blind Submission: A Novel

Indira, December 4, 2006

I'm not done with the book yet, so I know this is risky.... But, it has been months since a book has captured me this way. I really thought about calling in sick so I could finish the book! It starts out a bit too "chick lit"-y for me, but quickly (20 pages, maybe) I was hooked on the story.

The Good Good Pig: The Extraordinary Life of Christopher Hogwood by Sy Montgomery
The Good Good Pig: The Extraordinary Life of Christopher Hogwood

Indira, August 21, 2006

It was a sweet book and sad, of course, because the book chronicles Chris' life -- his whole life. I'm not usually one for memior, but this one was enjoyable.
