I wasn't sure what to think when I picked this book up. But I really enjoyed it. Bibeau is an affable writer. He is a perfect tour guide through the cultural landscape of vampires.

I'm not done with the book yet, so I know this is risky.... But, it has been months since a book has captured me this way. I really thought about calling in sick so I could finish the book! It starts out a bit too "chick lit"-y for me, but quickly (20 pages, maybe) I was hooked on the story.

It was a sweet book and sad, of course, because the book chronicles Chris' life -- his whole life. I'm not usually one for memior, but this one was enjoyable.
