The Electric Jesus: The Healing Journey of a Contemporary Gnostic by Jonathan Talat Phillips
The Electric Jesus: The Healing Journey of a Contemporary Gnostic

I really liked this book, basically swallowed it whole. He establishes the narrative consciously and engagingly while keeping things simple as the content of the book evolves to tackle some seriously interesting and complex topics in a very concise manner. His words paint a vivid picture of his experiences while he ties in the things he learns along his journey. He provides information and perspective on things like Gnosticism, ayahuasca, extra-terrestrials, burning man, consciousness evolution and more as they tie in to his personal story.

Written in a first person narrative I found it easy to relate with him as he goes through these experiences, yet I also found myself astonished and excited about the prospect of experiences this intense actually happening to somebody. This book comes highly recommended from me and my kudos goes out to Jonathon for putting himself out there with such a raw window into his personal life. Thanks mate.
