FoxTrot, in general, is easy to read and often funny. But since Jason is supposed to be exceptionally smart in math and science, some of the strips can be fairly technical. I find it particularly pleasing that the author (Bill Amend) goes to the trouble to make the math and science correct. Whether it's using calculus to compute the area of a rectangle, or obscure Unix commands, it's interesting to see what Amend has come up with, and then to do the work to see that he is right. It takes guts to show your work, knowing that there is a community of experts (and non-experts) checking your work.
