This novel is a murder mystery story written in a clever way. The reader knows the identities of both the victim and the murderer but learns more about all of the characters and the murder by reading the story through the eyes of several characters. Mr. Rash writes in the beautiful voices of North and South Carolina and draws the reader into those areas. The novel is deeply moving and a start to finish read.
