A Wicked Snow by Gregg Olsen
A Wicked Snow

Janet Schmidt, March 21, 2007

A Wicked Snow is one of the best suspense novels I have ever read. Gregg Olsen has written a wonderful book that quickly draws you in and doesn't let you go until the very end. This is an up all night page turner that I finished in one sitting. His background in True Crime makes the book ring true - it could have happened. This element adds to the enjoyment of this book. Mr. Olsen is a master of the craft of writing and I look forward to his next novel.

Extracts from the Diary of a Princess
Extracts from the Diary of a Princess

Janet Schmidt, March 9, 2007

I wish I had the words to fully express how awful this book is. I am left feeling angry that I wasted the money -and the book held up my order as it had to come from a certain warehouse.

Apparently, the book is supposed to be Princess Diana writing as another woman, or it might be another woman writing as Princess Diana writing as another woman or something. It is very confusing, borrows from well known instances in the life of the late Princess, and really is a total waste of time. There is nothing to like about it. Nothing. I am astounded that I did actually read the entire book, but, I did.

I can't imagine anyone, whether a fan of Diana or someone who didn't care for her, enjoying this book. I read a lot and I really have to say that this is the very worst book I have ever read.
