This book was not a very good book at all. It was a required textbook for a Unix class and I could never find answers to issues I was having in the text. It had very few practical examples and was too basic to get around well in Linux. I mostly had to depend on handouts, help online and additional reading material to do the assignments. I suggested they get a new text for the next semester.
