This is one of the funniest books I've ever read. The author tackles a different "female" virtue of the Bible each month for a year, not taking into account how customs may have changed. She camps out during her "unclean" time of the month as not to defile objects in her home, she learns to be gentle which isn't easy during football season, and her attempts at making her own clothing are just downright hilarious!

This book is an inside look at domestic violence. It's a story that is repeated daily by thousands of women, but the author has had the courage to speak up as a survivor and tell her riveting story of how she realized she was being abused to being able to break free.

Thou Shall Prosper: Ten Commandments for Making Money by Daniel Lapin

Within this book Rabbi Daniel Lapin talks about money. He teaches techniques for acquiring it as well as giving to charity and how giving can help increase your wealth. Lapin takes ten principles and unpacks them for an educational book on the theories of money! I even recommended this book to my boss when I was only 1/4 of the way through it!

Did you know that personality types can be used as a basis to see if a relationship is likely going to last? The author spent years studying personality types and instead of going from relationship to relationship, why not let his research help you in knowing which people to avoid because your personalities won't allow for a long lasting relationship?
