The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz
Review:

I wish that I had read more reviews regarding this book before I wasted $45.00 for the audio version of it. I purchased this audio book for my wife for Christmas and I was the first one to hear it. We have two wonderful dogs that the Good Lord has blessed us with and that we love very much. I purchased this audio book thinking that it was mainly about a dog. WRONG! What a waste of my time and my money. This book has very graphic descriptions of both dog and child abuse and depicts a demonic person and very foul language. I had to force myself to listen to the entire book and I am so sorry that I did. I could only stomach hearing a few parts of it at a time. I will NEVER purchase another book from Dean Koontz again. What a waste of talent. This book could have been a loving, pleasant, and memorable story. I made a mistake buying this book. Please don’t you make the same one.
