The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
The Historian

BEST BOOK OF THE DECADE!

A must read for history lovers. The ten years of research done by Elizabeth Kostova is obvious is in every chapter of the book. The warmth and love she put into this masterpiece will leave you wondering how anyone could be so brilliant. The story begins to be told by a 16 year old girl and gradually brings in the other people that looked mythology in the face. If your not a history lover yet this book might very well be the one that will leave you hooked. Briliant book. It's Dracula by Bram Stoker; endulged in class, eloquence and caffeine. Check out her upcoming novel the Swan Thieves, preordera a signed copy here.

Andy Serwer is problably the first Republican I have even begun to respect. He is truly objective when it comes to reporting despite the fact that he is right wing, amazing! huh? But it's true I read his article in Time Magazine and was hooked, it was basically a preview on this book. Read his article at time.com
and you'll understand why it's so important that you preorder his book or buy it when it when it comes out. Left wing or right wing you'll enjoy this book.
