Corn well is at her best in this spellbinding Scarpetta novel. There are changes happening in Scarpetta’s personal life some as dreadful as the bodies that are found. At first seemingly unrelated all the cases build to a shocking revelation. The story flows at a steady pace, keeping you turning the pages and trying to solve the crimes. A great read, I could not put it down.
This is a great story, a bit slow starting out, but once you get into to it you can't put it down. The characters are interesting and the story line never predictable. The look into the world of this drunk is fascinating and the developing relationships in the book are touching. A most enjoyable read.

What a please to read such a lovely book. Mma Ramotswe is a lovable character as are the others that she meets along the way, simple open and honest characters. I loved this book from start to finish, I can't wait to read more of these books.

If you enjoyed Bridget Jones you will love Olivia Joules. What a joy to read, fun, fast moving and packed with adventures, this girl definately has more guts than brains. There is also some great wisdom to be found in Ms. Joules "rules to live by", the book is worth it for the rules alone. Have fun with this one.

I bought this book on a whim and it has been well worth it. Living in Africa one finds it hard to accept that the things talked about in this book do still happen around us today. The book is written beautifully, the content often shocking but thought provoking, expecially the relationships between mothers and daughters.
