When this book was chosen for book group discussion and I was skeptical. After I started reading I could hardly put it down. I could relate to it as I am an alumni of a parochial school. I heard that it was banned at one time. Can't imagine why?

A quick enjoyable read that puts hope back into our hearts when the news we hear every day is so dreary. These men show us the possiblities we all have in our lives.

This book is not for the local pollyanna. It looks at a different way of life and shows us what enforcing "the right way" can do to a single man and to a tribe of people. Very potent stuff!

Any one who is even thinking about building a new house should read this book! It opens your eyes to the process plus it is a great story about these particular builders. I got it from a good friend and enjoyed it immensely... and we are not building.
