The ARRL license manuals are the authoritative guide for getting a new Amateur Radio Technician license or upgrading to General or Extra. I'm commenting on this particular one as I'm about to start studying for the test, but rest assured that this comment applies for the entire series - using the Technician manual, I took and passed the test, first time. Concise explanations, with reference to the particular element being tested, and also the entire question pool so you can practice. And the price is right - don't pass this up. Highly recommended.
