I seen an interview w/ Dancia McKellar randomly as I was flipping through television stations. At first thought, I believed she was an actress and it grabbed my attention. Then I listened to what she has to say and was impressed by her intelligence. I think that it is awesome that she can stand as a role model for young girls to look up to. It is important to learn Math skills at a middle school level. I am the perfect example of everything she talks about. I struggle w/ Math courses constantly, and It all stems from giving up on math early on in school. I am now a Junior in college and continue to have to take math courses over and over just to pass. If Danica continues to encourage girls and help them see that they are smart enough to excel in math, it would be doing a world good.
