His poems are an odd jump where you have to mouth the words and see how he has structured the lines to understand anything. And even after all of this, it's still difficult to explain what is going on, but you know what the poem is about even if you can never tell anyone exactly how you know. You see the pictures he has made. Oh, terrible man, because he disconnects us from lucid thought and logical patterns. Hooray for e.e. cummings!

Disturbing to read as an adult. Lovely to read as a child. Will not give you nightmares unless you're ridiculous that way. Sarcastic cats, button eyes and dead things. A perfect book, I'm thinking.
