Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened

Kelsie O'Dea, November 13, 2013

I had completely forgotten that I had preordered this book, but I couldn't be more glad that I did. This book is funny, sweet, and witty. Plus, now when people I know say "Clean ALL the things!" but look at me like I am insane when I start talking about how awesome Allie Brosh is, I have something to hit them with!
I hope she writes another book.

How to Get Sponsorships and Endorsements by Simon S. Tam
How to Get Sponsorships and Endorsements

Kelsie O'Dea, March 19, 2013

Simon is insane (in a good way.) Seriously, he manages a band, a non-profit, and he is in grad school. Now he has written a book. Yeah, I would definitely take financial advice from him.

The Chronology of Water: A Memoir by Lidia Yuknavitch
The Chronology of Water: A Memoir

Kelsie O'Dea, January 1, 2013

This is the best book ever, bar none. I don't even normally like memoirs and this is still my favorite book.

Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks
Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend

Kelsie O'Dea, July 14, 2012

This book is fantastic. It is funny in parts and highly entertaining, and it is also incredibly poignant. It deals with mortality and death in a way that is both real and beautiful while celebrating what it is to truly be alive.
I am not ashamed to admit that this book made me cry, but I must admit they were partially happy tears. I do believe I will miss Budo.
