Despite the whole glamerous hollywood described in the book, I fell in love with the characters in this book. Danielle Steele fans will LOVE this book!! Tiana is a warm, loving individual that wants the whole package, a family, kids and someone to love that will love her back. She loss alot when she was young and then loss her husband not even a year after she was married. She has her two best friends Marta and Shey and some other good friends as well. She thrives to do good for others and I loved her mission to Zambia, very touching! The connection between her and Dr. Michael O'Sullivan is exceptional, you can picture the two of them together. Overall it was an excellent book, very heartfelt, loved the characters and I hope this one turns out to be another hit movie like Flirting with Forty (which was awesome too!). I highly recommend this book as well...haven't read one of Jane Porter's books that I didn't like!
Patterson definitely went from a 'thriller' to a 'horror' book with this one. Maybe because I'm a parent and we know that a parent will always try their best to protect their child(ren), no matter how old they are. This book was much more graphic than his others. The psychopath takes on many disguises and is easily able to lure his prey, to which he enjoys filming his sadistic and torturous ways with his victims. Some parts I will say were very hard to read and I'm a huge fan of Patterson, so take this as a warning...it is not for the weak!

This was a comical, adventurous book! Jane is very much the perfectionist type of person, but has a low self esteem. She was elated that the guy that she had been dating invited her to go to Maui with him on vacation. He seems to be a great guy, owns his own business making wetsuits for divers. Everything was first class all the way to Maui, until they got there. From there it was downhill with alot of mishaps and finding out that she really didn't know her boyfriend all too well. Without giving too much away, the boyfriend disappears after he goes out diving, by himself...then the police get involved, the news media, another woman and then will the real 'Jimmy' please stand up! it was all quite comical and fun to read. A great beach book!
Another thriller from James Patterson...another Michael Bennett story line...fast paced from the first page. Michael Bennett doesn't seem to catch a break at home or at work. His 10 kids all came down with the flu, but fortunately he had the help of his nanny and father. The killer definitely knew how to leave his mark and never mess with one of Michael Bennett's kids! action packed, another great book!
Andrew Gross is right up there with James Patterson! this is a fast paced book, well developed characters. The main character was the daughter whom one day received a frantic call from her mother stating that her father had just been arrested. The daughter lives with her husband, but goes to her parents to find out what is going on...to find out that her family has to enter the witness protection program. This book kept you on your toes trying to figure out who murdered who and always had you guessing...and an interesting ending! Great book...
