Friends, Lovers, Chocolate: The Sunday Philosophy Club

I love his writing. A great summer read. A cooling Scottish wind. This book is the second in the series, and is as good as the first.

Cleaving: A Story of Marriage, Meat, and Obsession by Julie Powell
Cleaving: A Story of Marriage, Meat, and Obsession

Krista Smith-Moroziuk, August 21, 2010

I liked this book more than her first one. It was a much more mature read, and better written. It was raw and truthful.

Reliable Wife Uk by Robert Goolrick
Reliable Wife Uk

Krista Smith-Moroziuk, July 26, 2010

A great book. It has you hooked from the first page. The characters, the time, and the place come alive under Goolrick's pen. Hard to put down. A real page turner.

Summer Will Show by Sylvia Townsend Warner
Summer Will Show

Krista Smith-Moroziuk, July 13, 2010

A great summer read. The story teases you at the beginning and than engulfs you. Hard to put down. The author's depiction of time and place, and her character development is second to none. A great historical read.

The Golden Mean by Annabel Lyon
The Golden Mean

Krista Smith-Moroziuk, July 4, 2010

Anyone interested in philosophy should read this. It is a well written book about Aristotle. Lyon brings the characters, the time, and the place to life.
