A great book. It has you hooked from the first page. The characters, the time, and the place come alive under Goolrick's pen. Hard to put down. A real page turner.

A great summer read. The story teases you at the beginning and than engulfs you. Hard to put down. The author's depiction of time and place, and her character development is second to none. A great historical read.

Anyone interested in philosophy should read this. It is a well written book about Aristotle. Lyon brings the characters, the time, and the place to life.

I love his writing. A great summer read. A cooling Scottish wind. This book is the second in the series, and is as good as the first.(3 of 6 readers found this comment helpful)

I liked this book more than her first one. It was a much more mature read, and better written. It was raw and truthful.(5 of 9 readers found this comment helpful)
