A Girl Named Zippy: Growing Up Small in Mooreland, Indiana by Haven Kimmel
A Girl Named Zippy: Growing Up Small in Mooreland, Indiana

Leenie, January 17, 2011

A Girl Named Zippy was such a joy to read and felt truly original to me. Here's to writing an excellent book that isn't about a traumatic or disturbing story line. It was an amazing read because Haven Kimmel writes in the voice of a kid mind. I mean, it's the first book that ever resonated with my mostly forgotten childhood memory - as if I had experienced her experiences and had thought her thoughts. And to top it off, I laughed out loud many times. So glad I read this book.
