The first time I read this book I was in th 8th grade and my mother picked up at the liabary. I am glad she did. We both started reading it together when we were in bed or at the laundry mat. But the book began to get interesting and so I finsihed it in school one day and I began to cry. My teacher took the book from me and asked me why I was crying. I told her it was because of the book. She took it home and gave it back to me the next day saying It's a good book. The mood you recieve from this story is AMAZING> one of my favorite books of all time that I can read over and over again without getting board of it. As soon as it becomes a movie I am in the front row. Totaly and honestly an amazing love loss and new love novel. .... Muah great job Patterson.

Not only is Nicholas Sparks on of my favorite writers he is what really inspires me to become a writer myself. This book affected me because of Kyle. I love how he used the boy in this book not as a bad symbol but as a gift. The love in all is books just like this one is really amazing. I cried with happieness or saddness in all of his books and I just love the feel I get when I am done reading one. I always want to read more. Great work..

This is a great book. I am a big reader. I heard of this book through my teacher. She used it as an example of internal conflict in a creative writing class I chose to take. The book is sad of course. Because it's something that can happen to everyday people. Carrie is one of the most complex characters. You feel bad for her, but then again you just want to turn around and smack her. That's what made the book an interesting read because you don't know wheather to hate the girl at the end or feel bad for her. Great book... Just amazing.

This book is really amazing. I give Alice great review because she had a lot of courage to write about her life. I am going to be a college freshman this summer and I am scared and also excited, by reading a book like this it's helping me understand that I need to be careful no matter where I am and never go alone at night. Alice has given me courage to become a college freshman. Hopefully when I am done with college and I have written novels like I have always wanted to do that I can be in as high regard as Alice Sebold. Great book one of the best reads of my life.
