The Auschwitz Escape by Joel C Rosenberg
The Auschwitz Escape

Leslie2, June 15, 2014

We've all heard about the concentration camps of the Nazis but I'd never read much about them.. This wonderful book based on true facts, brings it alive. Jacob a young Jewish man who served in the Resistance and Jean-Luc "Luc" a French assistant pastor who assists Jews escape, find themselves in Auschwitz. Descriptions of camp life and death are brutally honest. It's difficult to describe how "The Auschwitz Escape" moved me. It's indescribable. A must read for everyone.

Threat Vector (Jack Ryan Novels) by Tom Clancy
Threat Vector (Jack Ryan Novels)

Leslie2, December 21, 2012

Clancy strikes again. Jack Ryan Sr is President once again and Jack Jr. is still working with the Campus. Cyber warfare instigated by the Chinese. The introduction of new characters is great. I didn't get lost with all the characters. Our old friends John Clark, Dimingo Chavez, Sam Driscoll are back again. And the race is on to figure out where the cyber attacks on the US are coming from. Iran, Iraq, Russia or China? Intense.
