Younger Next Year CD: A Man's Guide to Living Like 50 Until You're 80 and Beyond by Chris Crowley
Younger Next Year CD: A Man's Guide to Living Like 50 Until You're 80 and Beyond

Lili, November 15, 2006

My boyfriend has always been clueless when it comes to health and nutrition. In fact, before I made him read this book his major exercise of the week came from cheering for his favorite sports team ? from the couch that is. I read the ?Younger Next Year for Women? and it definitely inspired my workout routine. So, I thought it was about time to spice up his athleticism and I purchased him the men?s version.

Now my boyfriend and I shoot to work out six days a week, following the advice of Crowley and Lodge, and we are in the best shape of our life! In order to be fit physically and mentally we also use services like Agogus.com, which has taught us how to achieve mental fitness. Our brain and mind combo has turned us both into happy and healthy individuals. So, when we are in our 80?s, we will have the best of both worlds ? the body and the mind of someone in their 50?s.

Younger Next Year for Women by Chris Crowley
Younger Next Year for Women

Lili, November 15, 2006

Like millions of Americans out there, I spend way too much time in traffic. This makes me a huge fan of the radio! I was already familiar with the paper version of ?Younger Next Year for Women?, so when I discovered the audio version I had to snag it off the shelf ? it was a great investment that has certainly helped me through rush hour! Norman Dietz does a great job of keeping it interesting with his engaging narrative style.

The lifestyle plan offered in this audio is a great way to reach optimal physical health and my exercise routine has never been better. For this I am grateful. However, I feel that this method leaves out a critical factor in reaching a healthier lifestyle ? mental fitness. Most people do not realize that working out your brain is essential to overall health. I use services like Agogus.com where I can enhance my mental fitness via brain exercises and stimulating knowledge reports. I belong to two gyms ? one for the body and one for the mind ? and this is the only sure way to reach health and happiness!

The Longevity Bible: 8 Essential Strategies for Keeping Your Mind Sharp and Your Body Young (Large Print) (Thorndike Health, Home & Learning) by Gary W. Small
The Longevity Bible: 8 Essential Strategies for Keeping Your Mind Sharp and Your Body Young (Large Print) (Thorndike Health, Home & Learning)

Lili, November 15, 2006

For everyone who cares about their health, this book is the ultimate guide to self-improvement and longevity! Small is an expert in his field and he offers great advice on how to maximize health as you age.

I thoroughly enjoyed the chapters on memory. Small provides excellent information on memory loss - from facts to prevention - and he even includes exercises that stimulate the brain. Mental fitness is essential to sustaining an active, clear mind. Many people do not realize that working out your brain is just as beneficial as going to the gym. This book really highlights the importance of mental fitness and has led me to look for other ways to stimulate my brain. I joined a service called Agogus.com, which provides fun brain exercises and interesting articles. And, my mental clarity and sharpness continues to get better each day. The key to longevity is mental fitness, and if you ask me - we all need to put our brain on the treadmill!
