Loving Frank was an awesome read that won't disappoint..This story speaks from the mind and heart of Mamah, Frank Lloyd Wright's mistress..During Mamah's affair with Frank, the couple experienced issues with public notoriety that threatened to do them both in..Their lives were on a never ending roller coaster.. When life seemed to be at its most promising for Frank and Mamah, their affair came to a surprising and dangerous end..

This book delves into what it is like to be a lawyer in a sleepy small town in Mississippi..One man's secret is another man's gossip..The ending of this story is a surprise, but at the same time it makes a lot of sense!

If you pick up this book to read, you had better set aside enough time to relax and enjoy it..Your eyes will be glued to each page, your thoughts and imagination will be with these characters of yesteryear...Very, very entertaining!

Ladder of Years by Anne Tyler
Ladder of Years

Lisa Comperry, October 14, 2013

This book put into words what I want to do from time to time..My kids are grown and live on their own, it is just husband and me..
If I just up and left my home like this main character did, I would lose what I have worked for all of my adult life..My husband would be relentless and greedy..
So I just take small trips..I get
A break from everyday life
A breath of space
A breath of air
The beauty of nature before my eyes!
The strength to keep myself together until the next getaway...
