One of Anne Rice's best! The Dante like journey through the mind of Lestat with a modern twist leaves the readers wanting more. It is a thought provoking book that will reawaken many taboo thoughts and ideas. A MUST have in the Anne Rice works.
A renewed spin on H.P. Lovecraft's "The thing on the doorstep." The novel is a little off pace from the rest of the series but it definately is a solid read. Less of the vampirism more of the mystic influence, but it helps bridge the gap to Anne Rice's latter works.
I haven't read this book, but i'm sure all these skills will be needed in this economic down turn. So if you want a garden, and you have never had one books like this one could save you a fortune.

This is definately the most attention getting book of the series. Once you read this one, be ready to buy the whole series! And if you haven't read it yet, the movie doesn't even come close to being as well developed and exciting as this book.
The path to Lestat truly starts here.
This book contains some of Lovecraft's bests. It is well organized and would be a great book for a neophyte or experianced Lovecraftian reader. The type set is easy to read, and the illustrations are a bit bland and repetative, but they do help add some to the setting of many of the stories.
I wish there were more Lovecraft books like this one.
