Water for elephants is so beautifly written and from page 1 I fell in love. As the story progressed I fell in love more and more. As I drew near the end of the book I kept wishing it wouldn't end! This beautiful love story was instant favorite for me. I don't want to give the story away but I will say pick it up, turn the pages... You won't be sorry.

Picked up this book based on popular review but found myself quite bored until about page 140. This is the story of Molly, a young lesbian with strong will and determination. There honestly was not enough meat to this book to hold my interest although I read the entire book and I will probably never read it again. Overall, I just found the story flat. However, I could see this being a great read for a young teenage lesbian for Molly is admirable in her strength against adversity from a very young age.
Great read! This heart wrenching memoir is the story of a young lady and her struggles to overcome her past, excell in the present and triumphantly succeed in the future. A must read!
