Tear Soup: A Recipe for Healing After Loss by Pat Schwiebert

LuAutumn, September 30, 2011

This is my favorite book about grief. I have purchased at least 5 copies as gifts and I have one at home. It is written very simply and is very nicely illustrated, so it makes a wonderful book to share with children dealing with loss. It also provides many good tools and some great advice for adults that are grieving. It does a fabulous job of reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles, and that taking care of and being kind to ourselves is the first step in dealing with any difficulty in life, including loss.
