Love and the Green Lady: Meditations on the Yaquina Bay Bridge: Oregon's Crown Jewel of Socialism

MSchroeder, January 1, 2013

Learning to Fall: The Blessings of an Imperfect Life by Philip Simmons
Learning to Fall: The Blessings of an Imperfect Life

MSchroeder, January 27, 2011

This book is Philip Simmons' musings about life during the approximately 2 years he has to live after a diagnosis of Lou Gherig's disease. It is written from a full heart with a deep appreciation of life and the possibilities that each individual has to create their own joy.

Simmons' prose is beautiful and invites contemplation.
