The third of the Hunger Games books didn’t catch my interest quite as quickly as the first two, but once it did I was hooked. Great resolution to a fantastic series.

Book two of the Hunger Games trilogy opens with Katniss Everdeen, home, trying to get back to who she used to be but knowing it’s too late for that. She’s also made a very powerful enemy in the form of President Snow. Now she has to resolve her feelings between the two men in her life, put on a show for the whole country to appease the President, and continue to try to survive.

What a great book! Initially, I wasn’t interested. After seeing the trailer for the movie I decided to give the book a try. I couldn’t put it down and the next day picked up the second book in the series. Katniss Everdeen, her internal struggles, loyalties, and efforts to survive when literally everyone is trying to kill her make for a very spellbinding adventure.
Another Idiot Girl book, but with a Christmas theme! Loved it. I thought I was the only one who got twitchy in malls and enjoyed provoking my dear family during this joyous season!
