The Potty Mouth at the Table by Laurie Notaro
The Potty Mouth at the Table

Maggie_S, July 3, 2013

Wonderful! I'm a fan of Ms. Notaro anyway and this boof is no exception. She has the amazing ability to make the ridiculous things I do on a daily basis seem much more amusing than humiliating and I love that about her.

Drop Dead Healthy: One Man's Humble Quest for Bodily Perfection by A. J. Jacobs
Drop Dead Healthy: One Man's Humble Quest for Bodily Perfection

Another wonderful book by a fantastic author! I had to keep reminding myself that he was not a fitness/health expert and that this wasn't a "how to" book.

Odd Interlude (Special Odd Thomas Adventures) by Dean R. Koontz
Odd Interlude (Special Odd Thomas Adventures)

Maggie_S, February 1, 2013

Here is another fantastic installment of Odd Thomas's memoirs! Written as a digital series and now in print, Odd Interlude is set between Odd Hours and Odd Apocalypse. Still reeling from the previous day in Magic Beach (saving the world and all) Odd Thomas is thrown into another adventure against a nefarious foe. He must defeat the evil puppetmaster to save a family.

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz
Odd Thomas

I wasn't really a big Bean Koontz fan when I picked this book up. Odd Thomas changed all that! From the first page I was pulled in and felt an emotional attachment to the character. I have since read all of the Odd Thomas books and wait anxiously for the next!

Odd Apocalypse: An Odd Thomas Novel by Dean R. Koontz
Odd Apocalypse: An Odd Thomas Novel

The best of the Odd Thomas books so far. I've already gone through the others but I don't think I would have missed anything if this is the first Odd book I picked up.
