The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle
The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

Marc Allen, January 30, 2013

This is the best book I have ever read. I've continued to go back to it and re-read and reflect upon it for over a decade now, and it has lightened my life. Eckhart Tolle, in my opinion, is the finest teacher on the planet -- certainly the finest teacher and greatest writer I have ever found. His audios and videos are excellent as well. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out by Mo Yan
Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out

Marc Allen, January 30, 2013

This is the best book I've read in the past year or so. It's funny, insightful, tells a powerful story, and leaves you with a great message at the end. I've read several of his other books now, and this is the best by far.
