This is a stellar book! I laughed out loud (and earned some dirty looks) while reading about laser hair removal. I cried (and earned some apprehensive looks) when I read about her dog. Laurie Notaro is brilliant! I can't wait for her next book.
Mary Roach is the latest addition to my list of authors to keep an eye on. In Bonk, Ms. Roach manages to make science (a subject I just can't get in to) seem accessible and endlessly funny! I laughed (and cringed) my way through whole chapters on erectile dysfunction, penile implants, and swine insemination. You just can't beat that!

I love A. J. Jacobs! This book secured his position on my list of favorite authors. His writing is charming, intelligent, and not lacking humility. It really makes me admire his wife for putting up with it all.
This is a great book! I literally could not put it down until I was done reading it. I laughed, I cried, a good time was had by all! This is the second book I've read by Laurie Notaro (the first was The Idiot Girl's Action Adventure Club) and she may just turn in to my new favorite author. Now I have to run out and get the rest of her books!

A good book. Carrie Fisher is witty, even with only parts of her memory intact. I'm going to get a copy for my mom.(1 of 1 readers found this comment helpful)
