This book is a delightful surprise! I expected to learn a bit about dog behavior and get some clues about my own dogs. I did not expect to be charmed, amused, and unable to put this book down! I am sure that I communicate better with my dogs after reading this. The author is a sound scientist and a talented writer. What a delightful combination!
This is a story written from the heart. If everyone had the kind of love shown by Peter and Pat to their 6 adopted children, the world would be in harmony. Peter Likins shows his leadership skills in sharing his family's love and challenges in an open and understanding way. This kind of love will eradicate racial hostilities--if only all of us could find such unselfish love.
