Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore

The concept is quite novel, a 24 hour bookstore with no customers hiding a secret. I found the concept quite refreshing - 21st century technology against a secret sect stuck in their 16th century customs. It is a fast, easy read that keeps moving. The only downside I would have is that the solutions to the protagonist's problems are within arm's reach at all times and as such, you end up feeling that everything is wrapped up a little too easily. I would definitely recommend it though if you are looking for a fun novel that's a little out of the ordinary to read.
