Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk
Invisible Monsters

Meagan, July 20, 2008

Invisable Monsters is definatly the palahniuk style, it is full of commentary on society and mildly dark humor, it was kind of like reading a soap opera only much better, and even more intiresting.
The beginning of te book starts out kind of confusing but the more you read, the better the plot gets. There are so many twists that you would definatly not have expected.
If you liked Fight Club, you will definatly love this book.

How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff
How I Live Now

Meagan, May 10, 2008

After I read this book I wasn't sure whether I loved it or hated it. I was a little skeptical at first reading it, I'm not the kind of person who typically reads war novels or a book about someone falling in love with their cousin for that matter, but in the end it made me realize that love is love no matter who it is between. This book is more that i war novel, it is essentially a love story , not only about love but tragedy, hope, and desperation as well. It is so well written and full of emotion I found myself laughing and crying along with the characters, and at the end i wanted more, After a while i decided that I completely loved this book. I would defiantly recommend this book to people all ages.

Kurt Cobain Journals by Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain Journals

Meagan, August 1, 2007

An excellent book, It lets you get inside Kurt's head and truly understand his state of mind. It's hard to read at times due to the fact that it is personal and dark in some places. Kurt Cobain's writing is great if he didn't make it as a rockstar he would have been an excellent writer or artist. Some of the artwork he drew in these journals is amazingly realistic and well drawn.
I'm glad they have published some of Kurt's journals, they are amazing.
