A great book! This is my personal favorite Stephen King book. I am not familiar with any of Straub's books except for this one. This is a thrilling adventure story that has some very emotional moments. Highly recommended.

American Gods is unlike any other book I had ever read. It is at the same time scary, funny, and thrilling. I found the main character, Shadow, to be one of the most interesting characters I have ever been introduced to in modern fiction. I highly recommend this book.
