I read his "Operating Manual For Spaceship Earth" in the early '80s at University.
Based on that I would highly recommend this book. It is unlikely that he would have changed his view points. I will look forward to comparing Critical Path to the above. I am a great fan of Bucky. In 1968 I saw that geodesic dome in Montreal. I was amazed.
