Mo Willems' pigeon has won the hearts of my students since it was released. They can't seem to get enough of it. At least once per week some child asks me to choose it for their read aloud selection. Any book that makes my students happy, makes me happy. That's why it is my favorite book of the last decade.

Mo Willems' pigeon has won the hearts of my students since it was released. They can't seem to get enough of it. At least once per week some child asks me to choose it for their read aloud selection.
