Ecotopia by Ernest Callenbach
Ecotopia

This is a wonderful book that begins to explore realities of America's impending environmental crisis. Washington, Oregon, and Northern California have annexed from the United States, creating Ecotopia. Ecotopia has minimal pollution, and once buried streams and rivers have been revived and now flow through the streets. Since Annexing Ecotopia hasn't had a visitor from the United States. And that is what this book is all about.

To Simon Cowell's Fan:
A movie is never better than the book.
Movies are for the unimaginative, with a book so much is left to the imagination.

And for those of you that think the book is poorly written, I must say I was too caught up in the constant cliff hangers to notice the lack eloquence in the writing. Perhaps I shall re-read and look for evidence of the critiques I have just seen, as of now though I must give it a 5.

I agree that at first the rabbits are very unsettling, but as you dig deeper into the book the rabbits move from the realm of unsettling to intriguing. The rabbit perspective makes this book tons of fun.

Ah, the second Christie I ever read. Also a great one, with an incredible twist that leaves the reader shell shocked.
