Uncle Andy's Cats by James Warhola
Uncle Andy's Cats

PATRICIA GOSSETT, September 25, 2011

This book, written by the nephew of Andy Warhol, is about Hester and then Sam and then little Sams that frolic in Andy Warhol's home. The book was inspired by James' visits to his uncle's studio and is filled with pictures of Warhol's artwork.

The book is interesting for adults as it gives some background on Warhol and it is fun for kids because there are cats and more cats to count!

Uncle Andy's Cats is a charming book for adults and children! Be prepared to read it over and over as it will surely become a family favorite.

The diversity of characters drew me into this book. The narrative, as told from these characters' point of view was captivating. It was a "can't put it down" book for me.
