Everyone Out Here Knows: A Big Foot Tale by William Stafford
Everyone Out Here Knows: A Big Foot Tale

RAHREADER, January 28, 2014

The 2014 Centennial Celebration for the great Oregon poet, William Stafford is something that I have been looking forward to. I was honored to take a class from Stafford while he was alive and teaching at Lewis & Clark College. It was a life changing experience for me and I have been an avid admirer of his works ever since. This new children's book, EVERYONE OUT HERE KNOWS: A Big Foot Tale, is built on a little poem by Stafford and it holds an inspired if not even spiritual-like inquiry to the elusive sasquatch/bigfoot. With amazing illustration by Angelina Marino-Heidel, this book is certainly a great book for children to read ... and I would add that it is a delightful experience for parents and grandparents to read to children.

A Stranger's Gift: True Stories of Faith in Unexpected Places by Tom Hallman
A Stranger's Gift: True Stories of Faith in Unexpected Places

RAHREADER, June 27, 2012

Within A STRANGER'S GIFT, Tom Hallman, Jr. writes beautifully of the heroic stories of everyday people that through various experiences find faith. How does one explain faith other than through witnessing an expression of life's experience? Everyday people . . . living everyday miracles . . . and witnessing to this fortunate reader. Thank you, Tom Hallman!
