An excellent family history of the Bacardis. It showed the pivotal roles the family played in Pre Castro Cuba and the Exile Community in south Florida. I had a hard time putting this book down and that's not easy for me and a non-fiction book.
A hilarious collection of definitions and observations, based on Chris Rae's website english2american.com. The book was definitly a good read and proves that there's more to British humor than Benny Hill and Monty Python
Mirta Ojito's first hand of account of the Mariel Boat lift is a very moving and touching one. Ojito includes accounts and bios on some of the key players in the boatlift. It's definitely a must read for anyone

This was a great read, it examines all aspects of what life might have been like for Morgan. From his boyhood fascination with buccaneering, his adolescent lusting for women who were unattainable and the paranoia that set in when he had achieved what others couldn't accomplish.

Frank's an all around good guy. The book is funny and not for the thin skinned. It also provides some pretty good recipes as well.(1 of 2 readers found this comment helpful)
