The Explosive Child: A New Approach for Understanding and Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible Children by Ross W. Greene
The Explosive Child: A New Approach for Understanding and Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible Children

Robert Cronkhite, November 29, 2007

Changing perspective is a hard job, and this book asks us to change the usual thinking of Blame the Child or Blame the parent. The montra is "Children do well if they can." I use the Collaborative Problem Solving with many of my parents and their children. It has proven useful to many families. It is not a "magic bullet" and takes hard work to be successful. Thid book gives hope to parents, teachers and adults dealing with really difficult children.
