The Last Jihad is the first book in a riveting series that leads one into possible end-times events. Mr. Rosenberg uses his knowledge of the Bible and his story-telling talent to weave a story of future possibilities. Coincidentally, some of the events in his book are ones that have come to pass after he has written about them.
The Outlander book began a riveting series of historical and fictional books about the 1700's in Scotland and into the US at the time of the Revolutionary War. Each book had marvelously detailed descriptions of people, places and happennings of the time. The characters who go back in time and live in this earlier era were challenged to care for the health and happiness of family with few of the modern conveniences of the 1900's. I could not put the books down and each one was many hundreds of pages each. The author is a also a scientist which adds to the colorfulness of her writing.
